Elena Mosley

Elena Mosley was the founding member and current Director of Operation Unite Education and Cultural Arts Center, a not-for-profit that provides programs for youth and community members in her community of Hudson. She also founded the Kuumba Dance and Drum Academy. The Kuumba Dance and Drum program offers a variety of African music and dance classes, as well as performance opportunities for all ages.

Within The Hudson Eye, Elena Mosley and Kuumba Dance and Drum will offer a lively and fun evening of drumming and free style dance. Participants are encouraged to bring drums and hand instruments to play along. Dancers may jump in, follow along and share movement. Impromptu performance and all ages welcome.
